We would like to let you know about the bravery of one of our staff, Titus Gumede. Titus has immense sight problems and doesn't see well out of either eye so it was with amazement that we learned of his exploits in our pool. A local lad called Lucky (very apt) got into trouble in the deep end (obviously he shouldn't have been there) and Titus jumped in without a moments thought for himself. Despite Lucky's best efforts to drown him, Titus managed to get Lucky to the side and eventually out of the pool. Our instructors have said that without doubt, Titus saved Lucky's life and we are very proud of him. |
